Tax the Politicians: Prairie Fire on the Horizon

Looks like the sentiment is growing to reconsider the social utility of exempting from taxes the money raised by politicians for their campaign committees and PACs. In addition to my scribblings (here and here), more voices are joining the chorus for eliminating this injustice and inequality in shouldering the burdens of paying for our government.

As for those politicians who get multi-million dollar advances for books about their time working for us, tax them at 90% of what they get for those advances. Sort of like a claw-back provision for the people.
Simply put: “tax the politicians and the political parties for their activities.”
